WORDPAD.EXE is a Windows System File and should be in a system directory. If it is then this application is safe.


Startup DB Entries:
( 1 ) "Added by the AGOBOT-TL WORM! Note - this is not the legitimate Windows application wordpad.exe (which is found in the Program FilesAccessories folder) which should not normally be seen in Msconfig or as a Startup item. This file is loacted in the System (9x/Me) or System32 (NT/2K/XP) folder"

K9drlSuddenly when a double click a documment that is in Word Pad, I et this message, This program has performed and illegal operation and will be shut down. Details word pad causec an invalid page fault in module mswrd832.cnv at 018f:0140fcf5. When I click on the word pad.exe I get DLLfileMFV42U.DLL was not found.
